WCCHS loves to travel!
At WCCHS, we believe that some of the most powerful learning happens beyond the classroom walls. Student travel opens doors to new cultures, perspectives, and experiences that can’t be replicated in textbooks. Exploring the world ignites curiosity, builds independence, and fosters respect for different ways of living.
Junior High: Historically, every two years, our Junior High Travel Club journeys to Ontario and Quebec during spring break, giving students the chance to experience Canada’s history, culture, and diversity firsthand.
High School: In spring 2025, 18 WCCHS students and staff partnered with a similar-sized group from Nanton to explore Portugal over spring break—an unforgettable opportunity to experience another culture and broaden global perspectives.
Whether at home or abroad, WCCHS students return from travel with stronger confidence, deeper empathy, and stories that shape who they are as global citizens. Travel is more than just a trip—it’s an opportunity to grow, connect, and see the world in ways that inspire lifelong learning.
Stay tuned for future WCCHS travel opportunities—you won’t want to miss the chance to be part of these adventures!
